FMC is concurrently held together with ‘Furniture China’. Furniture China is held in September every year at the SNIEC and reached a milestone in the history of the show by becoming once again the third largest furniture fair in the world in 2008, a more international and truly Asia’s Global Furniture Event.
FMC will feature better classified display areas to make navigation easier. For example, FMC will set up several display sections, such as office fittings, fabric and leather, upholstery furniture manufacturing, saw/blades and tools, office furniture supplies & gas spring, furniture panels and surface décor etc..
FMC Premium will set an exclusive business platform in FMC for domestic and international quality suppliers of furniture components and raw materials. Designed to provide an open and harmonious atmosphere with uniform, high-quality exhibition stands, FMC Premium continues to provide a forum where exhibitors can concentrate fully on business. Catering and selective visitor access makes high standard attendance efficient and effective for both visitors and exhibitors.
The total exhibition area of FMC amounted 32,000sqm whilst FMC Premium the sector for high standard level of furniture raw materials & components occupied more than 6,000sqm. In total more than 550 companies joined FMC out of 160 joined the Premium part. FMC 2008 attracted more than 25,733 visitors with more than 10% coming from overseas (2,962).
